Accordingly, the Festival will take place on Ly Thai To Square and the pedestrian street around Hoan Kiem Lake.

This event happens in the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of France - Vietnamese diplomatic relations. The Festival will be a good place to introduce French cuisine and is part of a series of special events taking place across the country from the beginning of 2023. On 12th April 1973, Vietnam and France will officially celebrate the official establishment of diplomatic relations.

"Balade en France" will be an opportunity to organise a series of special celebration activities in April in Ha Noi, especially the 12th Cooperation Conference between localities of Vietnam  France, which will take place from 13th to 15th April.

In this special edition of Festival, Hanoians and visitors will be able to roam in a French market, where they are invited to discover French agricultural and food specialties displayed at more than 40 stalls.

Many restaurants, importers and brands representing French living art will be present at the event such as: Paysan breton, Métropole, Red Apron, Marou, Saint Honoré, La Table Hanoia, flower industry associations French fruit and ham, France 24 TV channel...

Visitors can share the enjoyments while tasting high quality products: milk, chocolate, bread, cheese, hams, fruit, wine and spirits.

French culinary will also present their best in this occasion - sophistication, friendliness, people-appropriateness and creativity - through booths that demonstrate cooking under the guidance of chefs. Some products will be on display for sale, and seating areas will also be arranged at the event.

In addition to the culinary space, "Balade en France" also has a variety of booths about tourism, hotel and studying abroad in France.

Art performances, French film screenings, art classes and hip-hop dance… will also take place to give visitors the experience of a real stroll in France.

The official Opening Ceremony of this year's special edition "Balade en France" in Ha Noi will take place at 7pm on Friday, 14th April 2023. The festival will be open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, 15th April and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, 16th April 2023.
