On April 7, the Department of Tourism informed that Vietnam National Administration of Tourism made a decision to recognize that Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa meets the five-star standard.
Vedana Lagoon is at 41/23 Doan Trong Truyen, Phu Loc town, Phu Loc district. The resort is around 38km away from Hue City center and it is also around 24km away to the South of Phu Bai International Airport. Vedana Lagoon locates in a quite peaceful and poetic position with its area stretching over the watery area of Southeast Asia’s biggest lagoon and on a 27-hectare width hill in the peaceful natural landscape.
The resort’s outstanding features are 142 rooms, including 92 luxury villas built on the water surface with the first open space in Vietnam. Vedana Lagoon does not only carry a picturesque beauty but also “opens” the new emotions for tourists by various unique services and special experiences on healthcare and beauty. This destination is also compared to Maldives in Vietnam by the tourism experts.
With this newly recognized accommodation, it raises the total recognized five-star accommodations of Thua Thien Hue province up to 8. In additional to Vedana Lagoon, there are also Imperial Hotel, Pilgrimage Village Resort and Spa; Azerai La Residence; Indochine Palace Hotel; Laguna Lang Co Resort and Spa; Silk Path Grand Hotel, and Meliã Vinpearl Hue Hotel.
