Ha Long Carnaval 2023 taking place in Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bai Chay Ward, consists of 4 parts: opening ceremony, theatrical art show, street dance, low-range fireworks. After 15 years of organisation, Ha Long Carnaval 2023 will have many new points about theatrical art tricks, modern lighting technology. The performances combine interaction with theatrical visual effects; from space, stage layout to performance costume props, will be renovated and full of attractiveness to audiences.

The Carnaval will be a great story of history, art, legend, openness, nature, development… showing Ha Long as the convergence of the most beautiful things, to deserve the position of the leading destination in Asia. Aiming to build the image of Ha Long Bay with the 29-year journey recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage and Ha Long Carnaval is a destination of smiles and hospitality. This is also the catalyst to make Ha Long's tourism image more beautiful and impressive in the hearts of every visitor.

Along with the Carnaval, Ha Long City also organises cultural, arts, sports and tourism activities including: Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival, Ha Long City modern dance group festival, kite flying festival, folk dance exchanges, sports activities…

Additionally, in the 3 months of Ha Long summer tourism 2023, the city has planned to present new tourism products, in line with the trends of young people, ensuring that at least every month there is a new activity or product to attract visitors. Thereby, programmes such as Street Music Festival, street circus performances, Ao Dai show on the Heritage shore themed "Ha Long - Wonders of the four seasons", Hiphop dance group performance, Aerobic cheerleader, Dance Sport, DJ… are scheduled to proceed.

Ha Long City has recently been developing new tourism products to improve the experience for visitors to Quang Ninh. In which, Bach Dang pedestrian street, Bai Tho mountain, Hai Thinh lake, food service on cruise ships at inland waterway wharf are activities that are highly welcomed by visitors. Sailing activities on the Bay, music services on Ha Long Bay, a display area introducing the values of geology - geomorphology - biodiversity and check-in points in Ha Long Bay, etc. are under casted to be put into operation soon.

Digital transformation in the tourism sector and controlling service quality are promoted strongly, for a common goal is to create a safe tourism environment, an attractive destination for tourists, contributing to the recovery and development of the tourism industry in Quang Ninh province.
