(TITC) - On 20th April, in Ha Noi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade chaired the Opening Ceremony of National Brand Week and Vietnam National Brand Forum 2023, under the theme “Positioning Vietnam’s Green National Brand”.
Vietnam National Brand Forum is an annual event within the framework of Vietnam National Brand Week, with the goal of creating an in-depth dialogue, multi-view, attracting the participation of a large number of delegates from management agencies, experts, domestic and foreign organisations as well as enterprises related to building, developing brands and importing and exporting.
Attending the Forum were state authorities; international scholars from the United States, Australia; Embassies, Trade Offices of foreign countries in Vietnam; business community at home and abroad.

Giving his remarks at the event, Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade stressed, Vietnam National Brand Programme is the unique, long-term and specific trade promotion programme of the Government, which assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other ministries and sectors to implement in order to build the image of Vietnam as a country with a reputation for high-quality goods and services, raising the pride and attractiveness of the country and Vietnamese people, contributing to promoting foreign trade development and improving national competitiveness.
After years of the formation and development, the programme has achieved fruitful results, successfully drawn whole attention and step by step gaining a strong reputation in consumers, regulatory authorities and businesses' hearts. Besides, the programme always accompanies and supports localities, associations and businesses to develop their brands of high quality products, goods and services. Thereby, Vietnamese businesses are aware of the important role of brands, and started investing seriously in building and developing product brands and corporate brands.

Vietnam is a country that is highly appreciated in building and developing the National Brand and is the National Brand with the fastest growth in value in the world in the period of 2020 - 2022. In which, Vietnam's leading brands have experienced remarkable growth in both brand value and brand strength index, thereby enhancing their firm position in the rankings. Also, the results play as a good proof to the efforts of Vietnamese national brand enterprises to catch up with the global trend of investing in brand value, making a significant contribution to increasing the value of Vietnam National Brand.
The Vietnam National Brand Forum 2023 took place right after the Opening Ceremony with the theme “Positioning Vietnam’s Green National Brand”.

The National Brand Week 2023 takes place from 17th April to 23rd April 2023 with many activities to raise awareness among the public and the business community about the Vietnam National Brand Programme and businesses whose products have achieved the Vietnam National Brand, and at the same time, providing information about the importance of building and developing brands in production and business activities, especially in the context of international economic integration.
