The Caravan tour programme with the theme "Quang Tri Colors" welcomed the participation of more than 80 units, especially with the participation of nearly 40 delegates from typical travel units and businesses of the two countries Laos and Thailand, a number of  representatives from the  provincial Administration of Tourism in Thailand.

The group paid visits to famous landmarks in Quang Tri such as the Our Lady of La Vang Pilgrimage Center - This is one of the largest pilgrimage sites  for Catholics in Vietnam and is also a place that attracts many domestic and international visitors. In particular, the new tourism product "Visit Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the bank to release lanterns on Thach Han River" at night is also introduced and made a big impression on the inspection team of two countries Laos and Thailand.

In addition, Caravan group visited a number of relics in the province such as: Special National Historical Relics of Hien Luong - Ben Hai Banks, Special National Historical Site of the Vinh Moc Tunnels and the Gio An ancient well relic system.

Caravan Quang Tri 2023 is a meeting place with Quang Tri tourism businesses in the Seminar connecting Quang Tri (Vietnam) - Laos - Thailand tourism. This seminar is organised to strengthen the stimulus for tourism development along the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) with the aim of increasing the number of international tourists coming to Quang Tri Province.

At the Seminar, there were discussions on agreement between Quang Tri Province and Laos and Thailand on tourism development cooperation according to the signed MOU to promote and link tours with the Association of Tourism, Commerce and Industry of the Northeast Region of Thailand and the Travel Association of Savannakhet Province (Laos).

For tourism businesses of Laos and Thailand, this Caravan programme is meaningful, helping them create impressive tours to bring tourists from Laos and Thailand who want to learn about culture and history and eco-tourism in Quang Tri Province. Notable among them are the "Quang Tri Beach Experience" tour.

According to the representative of the Quang Tri Provincial Tourism Association, in addition to exchanges and introductions of tourist attractions and tours in Quang Tri Province, through the caravan programme and seminar, businesses have suggestions from which to improve quality, diversify tourism products and find solutions to overcome difficulties for Thailand's right-hand drive vehicles to tourist destinations in Quang Tri Province.
