The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum is set to take place annually in different cities around the world and is a prestigious multilateral conference that brings together many leaders of cities around the world to attend.
At the Forum, the Mayors also paid attention and discussed issues of how Mayors can build inclusive societies and empower communities? At the same time, they also share that inclusion and empowerment are indispensable to building "a society for everyone", including disadvantage and weakness groups. This is especially important in the post-pandemic world, where the systemic inequalities of societies have been exacerbated as a result of the pandemic.
On this occasion, the city's delegation also participated in the tourism promotion programme to introduce Da Nang tourism in Seoul, Korea, taking place on 25th September 2023 at Ramada by Wyndham Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel. The programme is organised by the Department of Tourism of Da Nang, in collaboration with the Tourism Promotion Representative Office for the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) in Korea.
