At the Signing Ceremony, MOCST’s Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy congratulated H.E.Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of the UAE's 52nd National Day, and appreciated the UAE's efforts as the host country of COP 28. UAE Deputy Minister of Economy Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh said, he has been to Vietnam 6 times and has many beautiful memories of the country. He expressed his hope that, through the development of Vietnam - UAE tourism cooperation in the coming time, there will be more UAE tourists coming to Vietnam as well as Vietnamese people visiting and working in the UAE.

Deputy Minister Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh also proposed that the two sides should increase direct flights, not only connecting major cities but also between sub-region of Vietnam and the UAE.

The memorandum of understanding between the MOCST of Vietnam and the UAE Ministry of Economy focuses on encouraging cooperation between travel service businesses; promote joint tourism promotion activities through information exchange, propaganda and promotional documents; sustainable tourism development; strengthen general promotional activities; support education and training, share typical practices in the field of tourism…
