(TITC) - Information from the People's Committee of Hoi An City (Quang Nam Province), the Korean Embassy and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province and Hoi An City to organise the event "Korean Cultural Day in Hoi An 2023” with many special activities.

The event will take place on 9th December 2023 at An Hoi Sculpture Gardens (Hoi An). The Hoi An - Korean Cultural Experience Space will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with many activities such as: space to introduce Korean culture and tourism, display crafts, experience kimchi making, experience Korean traditional Hanbok costumes, tourism promotion booths…
The activity that promises to attract festival goers, especially young people, is impromptu K-pop dancing at 4 - 5 p.m. The programme will feature K-pop performances and dance performances by Korean and Vietnamese artists and dance groups.
The special art programme "Korean Cultural Day in Hoi An 2023" introduces Hoi An and Korean culture starting at 7:30 p.m. with costume performances from the two countries and art performances by singers JinJu, Unwreckable group, SDG Crew, Blue Crystal, Seoul National University and Hoi An City art team.
"Korean Cultural Day in Hoi An 2023" is an opportunity to introduce the cultural and tourist beauty of Korea to the Vietnamese people; At the same time, promote the image of Hoi An and Quang Nam to tourists.
Notably, Hoi An has just joined UNESCO's Creative Cities Network in the field of crafts and folk arts, so the event is even more meaningful in expanding exchanges, cooperation, and promoting creativity, especially for countries with creative cities in the same field as Hoi An like Korea.
