Binh Dinh and the four southern provinces of Laos (Attapeu, Champasak, Salavan, Sekong) are all making efforts to develop tourism, so the parties clearly show their determination to tighten connections, cooperate and support each other for sustainable development.

According to Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh, the four southern provinces of Laos are rich potential markets. Binh Dinh invited a delegation of officials and tourism businesses from 4 Southern Laos provinces to visit, meet, and discuss cooperation directions on 27 - 28th December 2023. Laos tourism businesses have been updated with many information about destinations, tourism products and services and tourism resources of Binh Dinh.

Many members of the delegation who visited Binh Dinh on their most recent trip in 2019 were surprised by the investment and changes of Binh Dinh tourism. Ms. Khamphilorm Armonhuk, Director of Sun-thon Travel and Tourism Company (Attapeu province), and many members of the delegation expressed their excitement throughout this two-day tour.

“We went to Ghenh Rang Tourist Area, Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation, Ky Co Tourist Area, Eo Gio (Quy Nhon City), Trung Luong Picnic Area (Phu Cat District)..., every place is beautiful, attractive and interesting. Personally, I am most impressed with the Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation, because in addition to being a tourist destination, this is also a place where pupils and students gain more understanding and knowledge. When I return, I will connect Attapeu tourists in particular and Southern Laos provinces in general, bringing them to Binh Dinh as soon as possible", shared Ms. Khamphilorm Armonhuk on Binh Dinh Online Newspaper.

The traffic system is smoothly connected from the four southern provinces of Laos to Binh Dinh, creating favourable conditions for tourists from both sides to move easily and explore each other's scenic spots.

Mr. Sipharsaed Marlaivon, Director of the Department of Information, Culture and Tourism of Salavan Province, expressed his impression of the Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation that only Binh Dinh Province has in the whole country of Vietnam. At the same time, he hopes that tourism businesses from all sides will quickly connect and organise tours from Binh Dinh to Laos and vice versa; Propose joint programmes to promote and attract investment to develop specific tourist routes and destinations in each other's potential areas; build suitable tourism products and types for both sides; research to suggest plans and policies for cooperation between the two countries in managing and exploiting resources for tourism development.
