This couple booked a 5-star resort in the south of Phu Quoc Island for four days of their wedding. The resort has 234 rooms, suites and villas, the most expensive is the 7-bedroom villa, priced at about VND 200 million per night. In 2019, this location was completely booked to organise a mega wedding of a couple also from India.

The bride and groom decided to choose this resort as a place to hold their wedding about 6 months ago. They flew to Vietnam 4 times to check locations and evaluate service quality.

Regarding the wedding, according to the event planner, the Sangeet ceremony (an Indian wedding tradition that involves dancing, singing, and music) with close friends of the bride and groom was held in the evening of 21st January, at the Grand Ballroom of the "art museum" Sun Signature Gallery, located in the heart of Sunset Town. The wedding took place on 22nd January. In the morning, the couple held the Haldi ceremony, the first traditional ceremony in an Indian wedding, at the booked resort. Next, they held a Baraat bridal procession from the resort to the wedding venue in Sunset Town by luxury car.

The wedding ceremony area is the Kiss Of The Sea stage complex with a multi-experience show, combining fire, water, and laser. According to the organiser, the main ceremony also includes a spectacular fireworks display.

The theme of the wedding brings together Indian culture and indigenous elements of Vietnam, shown through the details of a set of 7 giant red-yellow chairs with Indian aristocracy and lotus flowers floating on the water - representing Vietnamese culture. The time of the official wedding ceremony coincides with the most beautiful sunset moment of the day in Phu Quoc.

To prepare for lavish parties all night long, the couple brought dozens of professional chefs from India to Phu Quoc and collaborated with the resort's international chef team. The menu at the party will include dishes from diverse cultures such as Thailand, Vietnam, France, the Mediterranean and India.
