The Hue Tet programme will be organised from 1st February to 5th February, promising to bring to people and tourists the Tet atmosphere of the ancient citadel of Hue.

Residents and tourists can participate in the Hue Tet Programme on 2nd February; Imperial Palace Tet Festival from 3rd February - 4th February at the Royal Citadel of Hue.

In particular, on this occasion, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will open for free to welcome people and tourists to visit relic sites during the 3 days of Tet and organise a number of exciting Spring activities.

In addition, residents and tourists can also enjoy Nguyen Tieu poetry night, Hoang Mai festival, art performance programme at the lobby of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center, Huyen Tran Temple festival; enjoy the Spring Flower Festival; pedestrian street on both banks of the Perfume River.

Districts and towns in Thua Thien Hue will also have many activities to attract people and tourists to enjoy Hue Spring, such as the traditional wrestling festival of Thu Le village in Quang Dien district (6th day of the first month of the lunar calendar i.e. 15th February 2024); Sinh village traditional wrestling festival (10th day of the first month of the lunar calendar i.e. 19th February 2024).

Thua Thien Hue Province will organise 3 high-altitude fireworks displays to welcome the New Year.

Accordingly, Hue City will fire 1,000 rounds, Quang Dien district 500 rounds and Phu Vang district 500 rounds of fireworks.

In addition, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will organise a low-level fireworks display above the Flag Pole in a New Year's entertainment programme at 10 p.m on 9th February 2024.

The People's Committee of Huong Thuy Town will organise a low-level fireworks display at Thanh Toan Tile Bridge in an art programme to welcome the new year from 00.00 a.m to 00.10 a.m on 10th February 2024.
