(TITC) - Ha Giang, a majestic moutainous region of Vietnam, owning the gorgeous and charming landscape, attractive terraced fields, romantic buckwheat flower fields, with unique traditional cultural identity. In order to honour, preserve and promote the value of local culinary culture, province plans a series of events to promote the specialties and culture of the karst plateau land.

This year, Ha Giang is expected to organise the International Tourism and Culinary Culture Festival - Ha Giang in 2024 for 03 days, from 29th to 31st March 2024 at 26/3 Square and Green Park, Ha Giang City.
Themed Ha Giang - Asia’s Leading Culinary Quintessence Destination, Ha Giang will enhance local culinary cultural values, introduce and widely promote to domestic and international tourists; build and effectively develop the culinary tourism brand through collecting, restoring, and developing quintessential, unique, and quality culinary and tourism culture; promote cooperation in tourism development to bring many interesting experiences to tourists.
Accordingly, the International Tourism and Culinary Culture Festival - Ha Giang in 2024 will include a series of special and unique events, the most notable of which are shows, set a Vietnamese record of “50 dishes and drinks made from buckwheat” with the participation of chef experts from the Japan - Vietnam Culinary Association directly creating dishes and drinks, creating a menu of 50 dishes from the main ingredient that is buckwheat and in five sets of combinations "tree, animals, flower, tuber, fruit".
There are also a series of activities such as: Organise competitions and awarding typical dishes of provinces and cities; organise experiential activities, cultural exchanges, cuisine, and tourism; public art performance programme; Organise an inspect program of Asia's leading typical destination - Ha Giang 2023; Organise workshop on Ha Giang tourism brand positioning.
When coming to enjoy the Festival, there are also dishes of Ha Giang to enjoy for visitors such as: Men Men (steamed cornmeal), Au Tau (aconitum fortunei) porridge, Thang co (horse hot pot), meat hanging on the kitchen shelf, corn Pho, five-colour sticky rice,…
Previously, Ha Giang Province organised the North - Central - South Regions and Ha Giang Culinary Culture Festival 2023 in Ha Giang City with many exciting and attractive activities, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists.
