Accordingly, Carnaval Ha Long 2024 is expected to be held on the evening of 30th April at Bai Chay tourist area beach (Bai Chay Ward) with the theme: Carnaval Ha Long - Bright with Wonders.

A new and unique feature of the Carnaval Ha Long 2024 is that the programme will use elements of musical art, harmoniously combining with history and culture to highlight the values of the World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay.

In particular, the Festival will use Drone light technology (1,600-2,300 unmanned drones) and combine modern 3D mapping technology to depict typical symbols of Ha Long - Quang Ninh: Heritage tourism symbol, spiritual cultural symbol, human symbol, and brand identity logo of Carnaval Ha Long 2024.

The programme will also stage a large ensemble performance with the participation of 1,200 actors with classes performing on the sand and on boats to create a Ha Long Carnaval heritage dance (real scene performance). The programme ends with a fireworks display combined with a cruise ship parade and canoe art performance at sea.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee emphasised: The city's viewpoint is that the organisation of the Carnaval Ha Long 2024 must have new, unique, and creative features to strongly spread the image of Ha Long Bay with its 30-year journey as a World Natural Heritage; at the same time, it affirms the efforts of Quang Ninh Province and Ha Long City in always protecting, preserving, promoting the values of the World Natural Heritage for domestic and foreign tourists.
