(TITC) - On 12th March 2024, the cruise ship Celebrity Solstice docked at Chan May port, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province, bringing 3,000 international tourists to visit the central provinces.

After docking, more than 3,000 tourists on board went ashore, following tour groups to visit many famous landmarks in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam.
The Celebrity Solstice ship is on a cruise to take international tourists to explore Vietnam. Before arriving at Hue, the ship stopped by Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Nha Trang.
Saigontourist Travel Company is the unit in charge of maritime procedures and organising tours for tourists on board. As of March 2024, Saigontourist has served more than 10 Celebrity Solstice ship arrivals docking at Vietnamese seaports. Each cruise arrival brings more than 3,000 international tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province, said that in 2024, Chan May Port plans to welcome 32 cruise ships with 60,000 international tourists.
"The Department of Tourism coordinates with Chan May Port and service providers to have sightseeing programmes, increasing high-quality service experience products to meet the demands of cruise tourists. Through that, the unique and high-quality features of the ancient capital of Hue were introduced. We are coordinating with the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to deploy a number of cultural experience services that are highly interactive and of good quality, helping visitors feel more satisfied and impressed when coming to Thua Thien Hue", said Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc.
