DIFF 2023 with brilliant fireworks displays

DIFF 2024 is scheduled to take place from 8th June to 13th July 2024. The venue covers both the Han River Port area for the fireworks display and the Tran Hung Dao Street sidewalk area designated for artistic performances.

DIFF 2024 is projected to host 8 participating teams, comprising 7 international teams: France, Italy, the United States, Germany, Poland, China, and Finland, with the Da Nang team representing Vietnam. This upcoming edition is expected to welcome 3 new entrants from the countries: the United States, Germany, and China, to the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

With the theme "Made in Unity - Global connection - Radiant on five continents", DIFF 2024 marks 12 years of organisation, achieving many brilliant successes and being loved by friends in five continents. This theme also conveys the message of a world of peace, friendship, humanity and honours values that inspire the community.

The opening night of DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of 8th June with the theme "Made of Unique culture" and the opening competition between the Vietnamese team and the defending DIFF 2023 champion - France.

The following nights will witness competitions between the following teams: Italy - USA (15th June) (Made of Nature wisdom), Germany - Poland (22nd June) (Made of Love inspiration), China - Finland (29th June) (Made of Fairy tales) and the final night takes place on 13th July with the name "Made of Young generation ". As usual, artillery teams will have 20-22 minutes to perform.

This year, the champion team will receive $20,000, a trophy and a certificate. The runner-up team receives 10,000 USD, trophy and certificate. Continuing the audience's love from DIFF 2023, DIFF 2024 will continue to have the Most Favourite award (voted by the audience), with a prize of 5,000 USD, trophy and certificate.

DIFF 2024 is the 12th time the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is held on the banks of the Han River. The last time it was held in the summer of 2023, DIFF has become a magnet to attract tourists to Da Nang, helping the Da Nang tourism industry make a spectacular breakthrough after COVID-19.

Statistics show that during the festival period in June 2023, the total number of overnight visitors was estimated to reach nearly 706,000 arrivals, an increase of 34.1% compared to the same month in 2022. Room capacity during this period regularly reached 70%; accommodation and food service revenue reached VND 1,874 billion. The number of flights to Da Nang was up to 150 flights/day (1.5 times normal).

In addition, a series of events accompanying DIFF 2024 is expected to be held on a large scale, with rich and attractive content from exhibitions to art and cultural performances, spread across the Da Nang area.

A series of famous tourist and entertainment destinations of the City, such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Asia Park... will host many especially attractive festivals, music and art events in the fireworks season this year.

In particular, as expected, to open this year's fireworks season, Da Nang will entertain visitors with an extreme sports art performance show Jetski & Flyboards, produced by Australian manufacturer H2O. This is the highlight that makes DIFF 2024 completely different from previous seasons.
