Speaking at the Forum, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Tourism, said the Ha Noi Department of Tourism has implemented the development of a tourist route from Ha Noi Centre - Thanh Oai - Ung Hoa - My Duc with the theme "South Thang Long Heritage Road". This is a step to gradually invest in perfecting and improving the quality of tourism services and diversifying experiential tourism products associated with heritage,  relics, craft villages, contributing to creating high-quality, typical tourist destinations of Ha Noi City; promote the connection and cooperation of organisations, businesses and individuals doing business in the field of tourism in the direction of preserving and developing sustainable tourism.

According to Mr. Phung Quang Thang, Head of Vietnam Green Tourism Association, in addition to the typical destinations that the delegation inspected such as: Noi Communal House (Thanh Oai District), Quang Phu Cau incense craft village (Ung Hoa District), Phung Xa weaving village (My Duc District), these three localities also have hundreds of other destinations to explore, especially craft villages. Mr. Phung Quang Thang hopes that, with the efforts of all parties, the "South Thang Long Heritage Road" tourist route will continuously improve service quality.

According to Mr. Pham Hai Quynh, Director of the Asian Tourism Development Institute, the tourist route "South Thang Long Heritage Road" passes through many craft villages with many unique indigenous cultural values. Therefore, to serve tourists in a systematic and professional manner, destinations need to invest in closed experience spaces from production to consumption of finished products with the help of the authorities in planning, tourism infrastructure.

Ms. Hoang Thi Mai, General Director of Asia Discovery Joint Stock Company said: Besides craft villages, cultural and historical relics... it is necessary to associate the "South Thang Long Heritage Road" with the agricultural development of the Red River Delta and combine it with road, waterways and rail tourist routes from the centre of Ha Noi, to provide a colourful picture for tourism in the South of the Capital.

On the same day, the Ha Noi Department of Tourism organised an inspection, experience and announced a tourist route from Ha Noi Centre - Thanh Oai - My Duc with the participation of travel companies and press agencies.
