At around 9:25 a.m. on 5th May, flight number HY561 of Uzbekistan Airways carrying 166 passengers landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. Leaders of the Department of Tourism, Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company... went to the airport to welcome, give flowers and gifts to the first 20 passengers getting off the plane, and give flowers to congratulate the crew.

Uzbekistan Airways is the third airline in Uzbekistan to operate flights from Tashkent to Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa). Previously, Uzberkistan's Qanot Sharq and Air Samarkand (Sam Air) also organised charter flights from Tashkent to Cam Ranh. It is known that Uzbekistan Airways operates the Tashkent - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 2 flights/week. Visitors to Khanh Hoa will stay from 10 to 15 days. According to leaders of the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Uzbekistan Airways operating the Tashkent - Cam Ranh route will contribute to attracting tourists from Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries to Khanh Hoa.
