HCMC-Con Dao express ferry service launched

A high-speed ferry service was launched this morning by Phu Quoc Express Boats Company and the HCMC Department of Transport, connecting HCMC and Con Dao Island off Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

The ferry can accommodate 1,017 passengers. Ticket prices range from VND615,000 to VND1.1 million per trip.

There are three weekly trips. The ferry departs from Saigon-Hiep Phuoc Port in HCMC at 7:00 a.m. and leave Ben Dam Wharf of Con Dao at 1:00 p.m.

Passengers from downtown HCMC will be shuttled to Saigon-Hiep Phuoc Port in Nha Be District either by bus from September 23 Park or by express boat at Bach Dang Wharf in District 1.

Previously, HCMC visitors to Con Dao Island could fly directly from Tan Son Nhat International Airport or drive to Vung Tau City where they take a ferry ride to Con Dao.
