Implement linkages and cooperation to develop tourism in 2024 and following years, the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province coordinated with the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam Province and a number of businesses and organisations to organise a Famtrip for Philippines travel agencies to inspect tourist attractions in the Central region of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the Famtrip group consists of 39 members representing a number of travel agencies from the Philippines. In Hue, the group had a tour to inspect unique tourist destinations such as: Hue Imperial Palace, King Khai Dinh's mausoleum, Thien Mu Pagoda, taking a boat trip on the Perfume River, exploring Dong Ba market, exploring Lang Co Bay... on the days from 14th-15th May.

At the Hue Imperial Palace, the delegation received a warm welcome from representatives of the Thua Thien Hue tourism industry. In addition to the inspect in Hue, on this occasion the delegation will inspect a number of other tourist routes in Da Nang and Quang Nam such as: Ba Na Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, Marble Mountains, Da Nang night market, Bay Mau nipa palm forest, Hoi An Ancient Town, Sa Huynh Cultural Museum,...

This is a good opportunity for tourism industry of 3 localities (Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam)  to promote the unique local tourism destinations and products to the tourist market from the Philippines.
