(TITC) – On 25 May 2024, Miss Universe Australia 2024 delegation came to Quang Nam Province (Central Vietnam) to learn about culture, tourism as well as carry out meaningful social programs during the contest journey.

Moraya Wilson, Miss Universe Australia 2023 and the "top" 28 contestants of Miss Universe Australia 2024 had a trip to Hoi An ancient town to learn about the culture and history of the heritage site.

The group learned about village life at Thanh Ha pottery village, more than 500 years old, and experienced making pottery with artisans.

During the trip, the group also visited Quang Nam Inclusive Education and Support Center for deaf children (belonging to the Hearing & Beyond Organization).

The delegation decided to set up a fundraising campaign from Australian people to donate to the Center. The program is carried out through the Instagram social network of individual contestants and Australia's ToyBox foundation. The campaign is expected to last 8 days (starting from 26 May to 1 June 2024) with the goal of raising 10,000 Australian dollars (equivalent to about 168 million VND).

It is known that the Miss Universe Australia 2024 delegation visited Hoi An at the invitation of Hoiana Resort & Golf.
Previously, the group spent 7 days experiencing high-end resort services, participating in cooking programs, practicing performances as well as performing some side competitions here.
