(TITC) - Lam Dong Museum (Da Lat City) will display 36 Nguyen Dynasty royal artefacts at Queen Nam Phuong Palace during the Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week.

According to Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huy - Director of Lam Dong Museum, this is the first time Lam Dong Museum displayed 36 Nguyen Dynasty royal artefacts at Queen Nam Phuong Palace.
The purpose of the exhibition is to introduce and promote the cultural heritage values being kept here. At the same time, take full advantage of the strengths of Queen Nam Phuong Palace in the tour itinerary at the museum.
This time, Lam Dong Museum also displayed a number of Buddha statues, jade wine bottles, silver pots, jade cups and bowls covered with gold, ivory spoons covered with gold…
In particular, the basin is made of monolithic jade, the basin is covered with gold, and 119 pearls are attached (crafted in the 19th century) for the king to wash his hands when celebrating ceremonies at the court.
There is also a pair of large bowls made of monolithic moss green jade, around the mouth is covered with copper, at the bottom are engraved with 6 Chinese characters meaning "Great Qing Qianlong year", roughly translated as crafted in the Qing Dynasty, King Qianlong reign (1735-1796).

During the 3rd Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week, 2024, the Museum will be open for free from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on days from 31st May to 6th June.
Coming to Lam Dong Museum, visitors will experience an exhibition space introducing the traditional culture of ethnic minorities in Lam Dong Province such as reenactments of rituals: Nho Dong Ritual (Rain Praying Ceremony), Nho R'he Ritual (New Rice Celebration), Wedding Ritual of the Churu ethnic group; local traditional cultural and artistic performances during the time frame from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily from 3rd June to 6th June.
Besides, there are thematic activities: Photo exhibition "Green Plateau"; The collection of Nguyen Dynasty royal artefacts at Queen Nam Phuong Palace was introduced for the first time.
