The event lasted from 4th to 7th June 2024. This activity to promote the Cambodia - Vietnam - Thailand Coastal Economic Corridor 2024 (CVTEC) tourist route was organised by Trat Province, Thailand Tourism Industry Council, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and tourism businesses in Trat Province, Thailand.

Within the framework of activities at the event, delegates also participated in inspections and learned experiences in tourism development at destinations in Trat Province. At the same time, there are also business matching activities and the International Conference towards tourism development and tourism combined with Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events (MICE), took place on 7th June.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, introduced an overview of the potentials and strengths of Ca Mau Province and emphasised the similarities in natural conditions and characteristics of each province on the coastal economic corridor of the three countries Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand to attract investment, trade transactions, logistics and tourism development.

Vice Chairman Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Luan proposed the provinces of the three countries to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement, and at the same time upgrading this cooperative relationship to the highest level of the provinces with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministries and central branches of the three countries.
