(TITC) - Celebrating 57th Anniversary of ASEAN Founding Day; 79th Anniversary of National Day 2nd September; 70 years of Capital Liberation Day; 25 years of Ha Noi being honoured by UNESCO as "City for Peace", Ha Noi Union of Friendship Organizations in coordination with the Embassy of Laos (ASEAN Chair 2024) and Embassies of ASEAN countries in Vietnam will organise the Friendship cultural festival "Colors of ASEAN" from 29th August to 1st September, at Doan Mon (Main Gate), the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Ha Noi.
The Friendship cultural festival "Colors of ASEAN" is an international cultural exchange activity, people-to-people diplomacy activities of Ha Noi Capital, to strengthen friendship between the people of the Capital and the people of ASEAN member countries in particular and international friends in general.
The festival aims at promoting the image, country, people, and cultural identity of ASEAN member countries through cultural and artistic exchanges and photo exhibitions to the Vietnamese people and international friends. At the same time, arouse the aspiration to build and develop a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Capital; express and spread friendship, love of peace and pride of the people of the Ha Noi Capital.
This is also an opportunity for ASEAN countries and ASEAN businesses to introduce handicrafts and traditional products to exchange, learn and cooperate for mutual development.
Accordingly, the experience space of the Friendship cultural festival "Colors of ASEAN" will include: 57 Vietnamese and ASEAN creative booths, souvenirs for young people and families (children drawing, colouring, building legos, making figurines, papier-mâché masks, bamboo dragonflies, making kites, etc.), traditional products of various countries on consumption and fashion;...
In addition, within the framework of the festival, there are other activities such as: Photo exhibition "Colours of ASEAN culture"; amateur art exchange of embassy staff and foreign students; ASEAN costume show; contemporary musical Pinocchio 2024; Children's music and dance festival and children's fashion colours; Organise a drawing contest "I love Ha Noi, the city for peace" for international and Vietnamese children, the winning paintings will be displayed at the programme....
