(TITC) – On 30 September 2024, in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, Vietnamese General Secretary and President To Lam and President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa witness the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation between Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Mongolia's Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Nguyen Van Hung and Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia Nomin Chinbat signed MoU on tourism cooperation
Under the MoU, the two sides will expand relations and cooperation in the tourism sector by exchanging information, experiences, , and statistics, strengthening cooperation in tourism promotion, training human resource, as well as supporting cooperation between organizations and businesses in tourism.
This MoU is base for framework cooperation between the two Parties in the fields of research, development, and promotion of tourism in each country.
The “Go Monglia” event organized in Ho Chi Minh City (April 2024), the signing of MoU and the possibility of opening a direct flight route from Ho Chi Minh City to Ulan Bator in November 2024 will increase two way tourist exchange between Vietnam and Mongolia as well as positive impacts on cooperation in other areas such as economy, investment, people-to-people exchange, and friendship.
