On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Ha Noi’s Liberation Day, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Center coordinated with the Postage Stamp Company to organise an exhibition with the theme "Ho Chi Minh - Journey for national independence and socialism through stamp and postcard collections". The exhibition is divided into 6 parts with different themes.
The first part tells about Uncle Ho's journey of working, studying and learning about the practical situation of European, American and African countries.
Part 2 of the exhibition has the theme "Revolutionary activist Nguyen Ai Quoc participating in the international communist and workers' movement, founding the Communist Party and directing the Vietnamese revolutionary movement".
The exhibition content of part 3 focuses on the period after the establishment of the new Vietnamese state, when Uncle Ho led a long and successful resistance war against colonialism.
Part 4 is the period after the Geneva Agreement, President Ho Chi Minh continued to lead our people to fight against imperialism to unify the country.
Part 5 shows that his aspiration for national independence was realised. He is a model of the times for future generations to learn and practice. President Ho Chi Minh appears on stamps and postcards of many countries around the world.
Part 6 of the exhibition introduces traditional culture, landscapes, relics, and Ha Noi's Old Quarter on postage stamps. Along with that are historical milestones and famous people of Ha Noi.
