Accordingly, to celebrate New Year's Eve and New Year 2025, the city will organize a New Year's music festival on the evening of 31st December at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and August Revolution Square. 

The city will organize fireworks displays at 5 locations (with 6 locations) in Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, Nam Tu Liem districts, Son Tay town and Dong Anh district from 0:00 to 0:15 on 1st January 2025.

On the occasion of Tet, the city will organize fireworks displays at 30 locations (with 31 locations), including 9 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays (with 10 locations), 21 low-altitude fireworks displays in 30 districts, towns and cities from 0:00 to 0:15 on 29th January 2025 (i.e., the first day of Tet 2025).

The city plans to organize many cultural and artistic activities such as the Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025 in Tay Ho district (scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on 18th January 2025); the program "Brilliant Thang Long 2025" at the stage area in front of My Dinh National Stadium and the F1 racetrack area, scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on 28th January 2025.
