(TITC) - The project to promote “Google Arts and Culture - Wonders of Vietnam” is implemented by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (now the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism) and Google Group, with the support of a number of localities (Da Nang, Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Binh), Oxalis Adventure Company and photographer Tran Tuan Viet. The project officially launched in 2021. After 3 years of formation and development, the Project has brought and spread outstanding global values about Vietnamese landscape, heritage and culture, focusing on topics such as heritage, culture, cuisine, and landscape, which are also the strengths of Vietnamese tourism.
Vietnam possesses a rich heritage system with outstanding global value, such as world natural heritage, world cultural heritage, mixed world cultural and natural heritage, and documentary heritage. Besides, there are famous landscapes, unique traditional festivals and diverse and attractive cuisine.
The project “Google Arts and Culture - Wonders of Vietnam” launched with 35 online exhibitions, including 1,369 beautiful, high-resolution photos providing rich, new perspectives from famous destinations, heritages and wonders of Vietnam.
Leading viewers through a captivating story about the endless beauty of Vietnam, the online exhibition takes visitors on a journey from “8 things to know about Vietnam” or “5 things you should do at the beginning of the new year” with interesting information and impressive images about the history, culture, customs, cuisine, and majestic landscapes of Vietnam.
Stepping deeper into the world of Vietnamese wonders, visitors can choose to explore exhibitions of majestic caves, famous bridges, and deep blue lagoons or travel upstream to find ancient history. In particular, coming to the world's largest cave - Son Doong Cave in the "Kingdom of Caves" Quang Binh, visitors can admire the overwhelming images and magical lights, and listen to the sound of strong winds blowing in the cave.
Visitors will certainly not be disappointed when admiring the beautiful images of famous bridges, or immersing themselves in the blue of the lagoons and beautiful bays in Central Vietnam such as Lang Co, Cu Lao Cham, Tam Giang lagoon…
Coming to the historical theme, viewers seem to exist in an ancient space with architectural works, mausoleums, dragon images in costumes, in architecture and imperial dynasties. Before the viewer's eyes, images of the Nguyen Dynasty royal court, ancient relics of My Son Sanctuary, and typical artifacts of Cham sculpture art come to life…
With the initiative of an online exhibition of Vietnam's wonders, starting from the Central region, the project will contribute to spreading the attractiveness of Vietnam tourism to a large number of international visitors, while raising awareness about preserving and promoting the cultural and historical values of destinations and relics.
