(TITC) - On January 30, within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026 in the Philippines, the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026 ceremony officially took place, honoring 25 localities, organizations and businesses of Vietnam across four award categories.
The ASEAN Tourism Awards is an annual event aimed at recognizing localities and organizations that provide high-quality tourism products and services, contributing to the sustainable development of tourism destinations across the ASEAN region. It also offers destinations and tourism enterprises an opportunity to effectively market their tourism business activities and promote national tourism branding.
At this year’s award ceremony, Vietnam proudly had 25 localities, organizations and and tourism businesses recognized in four award categories, including:
ASEAN Green Hotel Award
ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award
ASEAN MICE Venue Award
Exhibition Venue Category
Meeting Room Category
Event Venue Category
5th ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award “Environmentally Friendly Tourism Destinations”
These prestigious awards clearly demonstrate the recognition of continuous efforts by Vietnamese localities and tourism organizations in improving product and service quality and strengthening destination branding. They further affirm Vietnam’s goal of developing tourism professionally and sustainably, placing quality, efficiency, and visitor experience at the center, in line with the Government and Prime Minister’s direction: “Distinctive products - Professional services - Convenient and simple procedures - Competitive pricing - Clean and hygienic environment - Safe, civilized, and friendly destinations”.
