The future is now in Viet Nam - specifically, tourism services around the country have digitally transformed to meet the needs of an always-online target market. Over 60% of domestic tourists in Viet Nam book hotels and tours online, while over 75% of international tourists use these services, reports the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM).  

(TITC) - On 26th December 2023, in Ha Noi, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) organised the ASEAN Festival Tourism Workshop to share information and experiences among ASEAN member countries, international and Vietnamese experts on solutions to develop and connect festival tourism destinations in ASEAN in general and Vietnam in particular, contributing to product diversification and regional tourism recovery. VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu chaired the event.

(TITC) - On 18th December 2023, in Ha Noi, H.E.Mr. Hoang Dao Cuong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) had a meeting with Mr. Masafumi Shukuri, Chairman of the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute (JTTRI) (an affiliated organisation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan).

(TITC) - Philippines Fam Trip delegation came to inspect tourist destinations in the Thua Thien Hue Province. This is an opportunity for the provincial tourism industry to promote unique local tourism destinations and products to the tourist market from the Philippines in particular and the ASEAN market in general.

(TITC) - Google Doodle celebrated Ha Long Bay of Vietnam on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of this scenic site being declared by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site (17th December 1994). The Search website Google placed an image of Ha Long Bay on the home page on 17th December 2023.
